Registered Nurse - Pediatric OR
About The Position
Mary Bridge Children's Hospital & Health Network is seeking a staff Registered Nurse to join its hospital-based team and provide specialized nursing care to children and families through a multidisciplinary approach. The role supports a nursing environment in which nurses participate in clinical decision-making, communicate openly with colleagues, develop professionally, and contribute to the future of nursing at MultiCare. The position is per diem, with variable shifts. The nurse will organize and deliver patient care in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, and protocols, while supporting quality improvement, patient experience, ethical and holistic care, and learning for patients, families, and care teams.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State or a Multistate License endorsement (MLS).
- Current BLS certification.
- ACLS, NALS, PALS, TNCC, or NRP certification, as required by the facility or department.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Certification in a specialty area.
- One year of experience in an acute care setting.
Responsibilities
- Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, and evaluating care on an ongoing basis.
- Use nursing education and experience to deliver care through the nursing process in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care and patient experience and reduce costs.
- Foster a learning environment for patients, families, nursing staff, and other healthcare team members.
- Advocate for ethical and holistic care that promotes patient autonomy, dignity, and health across diverse ethnic and social backgrounds.
