About The Position
The position supervises licensed practical nurses as well as health care technicians. The primary focus of this position includes but is not limited to providing active programming and ensuring safety of our patients, which is driven by individual patients’ treatment plans. Cherry Hospital is a State-of-the-Art Psychiatric hospital located in Goldsboro, North Carolina. Cherry Hospital serves the 38 most eastern counties of North Carolina with a mission to serve those with the greatest need and the fewest resources. Requirements
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina.

- Ability to independently plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans.
- Ability to lead a team; skill in delegation and making assignments.
- Ability to communicate information to patients, families, and staff in a concise and descriptive manner, verbally, in writing or by demonstration.
- Ability to appropriately respond to emergency situations.
