About The Position
Palmdale Regional Medical Center is a 184-bed acute care hospital in Palmdale, California, and part of Southwest Healthcare, a regional network of five hospitals and multiple ambulatory locations. The Registered Nurse provides safe, competent nursing care in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy, and provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team. Patient Centered Care forms the foundation of nursing care, and the nurse demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
- Current state nursing license.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications at the time of hire.
- PALS or NRP certification, current or obtained within 90 days of employment, as required by specialty.
- CPI certification within 30 days of hire.
Nice To Haves
- Prefer one year of full-time or three years of part-time experience in an acute care setting.
