About The Position

The Registered Nurse independently performs systematic and continuous assessments of assigned patients’ and families’ physical, emotional, clinical, and psychosocial needs in conjunction with the Medical Plan of Care. The RN plans and implements appropriate interventions, evaluates their effectiveness, and adjusts the plan in a timely manner to provide safe and effective care. This is a full-time night position in Neosho Acute Care, scheduled for 36 hours per week.

Requirements

• Current Missouri registered nurse license or a current registered nurse license from a compact state; a compact license must be from the nurse’s state of residence.
• If the nurse has no RN or LPN experience in a hospital setting, or has not worked in a hospital setting for more than five years, successfully pass Patient Care Orientation (PCO) within 30 days.
• AHA ACLS within 180 days.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers within 30 days.
• ASLS - Advanced Stroke Life Support within 180 days.
• NIH Stroke Scale Certification within 60 days.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training Program (CPI) within 180 days.
• Complete the annual RN competency day by the transcript due date.
