About The Position

Vi at Grayhawk is hiring a part-time Registered Nurse to provide superior care to assigned residents. The RN performs resident assessments, identifies diagnoses and desired outcomes, plans and implements care, evaluates treatments, and participates in quality assurance and performance improvement activities. The role also supervises staff and builds relationships with residents, families, and other members of the health care team. The schedule is 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. every Monday and every other weekend. The position is based at Vi at Grayhawk in Scottsdale, Arizona. The pay range is $35.72 to $44.65 per hour.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state where practicing.
Working knowledge of long-term care.
Current CPR certification approved by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
Current First Aid certification, or willingness and ability to become First Aid certified.
Maintain a courteous and professional manner when interacting with others.
Use a resident- and customer-focused approach to problem-solving and goal-setting.
Basic computer skills or willingness to learn.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree.
At least 6 months of experience working as a Registered Nurse.
Experience or continuing education in the care of elderly people.
