About The Position

Registered Nurse - MISC Full Time Day Shift - TriHealth Bethesda North Hospital. This role is a Full Time position working 64 hours bi-weekly. The schedule will fall within Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm, with no weekends, holidays, or call required. Requirements

Associate's Degree - Nursing (Required)
New hires required to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire. (Required)
Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience required
Knowledge, judgment, and skills derived from the principles of biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences to meet complex healthcare needs at various stages of the life cycle
Registered Nurse Required
Basic Life Support (BLS) Required

Nice To Haves

Experience in Pre-Op, PACU, OR or a similar setting is preferred
Circulating and scrubbing experience is preferred
ACLS
PALS may be required but is dependent on unit or department

Responsibilities

Perform initial and ongoing patient/family assessments and document per guidelines.
Develop, implement, and update individualized plans of care based on patient needs and expected outcomes.
Provide safe, ethical, patient-centered care while supporting dignity, diversity, and autonomy.
Prioritize care based on patient condition and unit needs.
Safely administer medications and treatments; perform technical skills per policy.
Recognize and respond to emergencies, initiating appropriate interventions.
Evaluate patient responses to care and revise plans in collaboration with the care team.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
Supervise delegated tasks and ensure quality care delivery.
Participate in organizational activities such as committees, staff meetings, and unit initiatives.
Support student learning and staff development; serve in leadership roles as needed.
Maintain professional competence through continuing education and self-assessment.
Build collaborative, collegial relationships across the healthcare team.
Identify and act on opportunities for process improvement.
