Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department (ED) - Level 1 Trauma Center. The Norfolk General Hospital's Emergency Department is a 53-bed unit equipped to handle a variety of medical emergencies, with approximately 10% being trauma-related. Sentara Norfolk General Emergency Department is one of only 94 in the United States to receive the Lantern Award from the Emergency Nurses' Association. Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is the region's first Magnet Hospital, a 525-bed medical center, serves as a primary teaching facility, and is home to the area's only Level 1 Trauma Center within a 126-mile region. This facility has four intensive care units and two intensive care units in its 112-bed Nationally Ranked Heart Hospital.
