About The Position
Texas Health Physician Group Employee Health RN is seeking a Registered Nurse to join their team. This role is responsible for deploying components of the Employee Health Program, administering periodic evaluations for employees, providing care for job-related injuries, exposures, and illnesses, conducting post-offer assessments, and acting as a Health and Safety Advocate. The position emphasizes professional accountability, ensuring worker privacy and dignity.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree Nursing required OR Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred
- 3 years experience as a registered nurse required
- RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required
- CPR – Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation upon hire required
Nice To Haves
- 3 years Med-Surg, emergency Services, or Occupational Health preferred
Responsibilities
- Deploys components of the Employee Health Program – Reviews and applies existing regulations, standards, and/or guidelines of applicable professional organizations, regulatory and governmental agencies.
- Administers periodic evaluations for employees – Reviews work releases, performs respirator fit tests, administers immunizations.
- Job-related injuries, exposures, illnesses - Provides care to workers injured or exposed on duty.
- Post offer assessments - Reviews health questionnaire, performs physical demands assessment, collects drug screen.
- Health and Safety Advocate - Reports identified opportunities for improvement that could impact worker health and safety.
- Professional Accountability – Provides for worker privacy and dignity.
