About The Position

Texas Health Physicians Group (THPG) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Employee Health. This PRN position involves dayshift hours and offers a supportive, team-based environment with excellent opportunities for growth. As part of THPG, you will work closely with physicians, specialists, and community resources to ensure every patient receives connected, compassionate service. THPG is one of the largest physician organizations in North Texas, providing patient-focused care at over 300 locations. This role is backed by Texas Health Resources, a nationally recognized health system.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree Nursing required
• 3 years experience as a registered nurse required
• RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required
• CPR – Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation upon hire required

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred
• 3 years Med-Surg, emergency Services, or Occupational Health preferred

Responsibilities

• Deploys components of the Employee Health Program – Reviews and applies existing regulations, standards, and/or guidelines of applicable professional organizations, regulatory and governmental agencies.
• Administers periodic evaluations for employees – Reviews work releases, performs respirator fit tests, administers immunizations.
• Provides care to workers injured or exposed on duty.
• Performs post-offer assessments - Reviews health questionnaire, performs physical demands assessment, collects drug screen.
• Acts as a Health and Safety Advocate - Reports identified opportunities for improvement that could impact worker health and safety.
• Maintains professional accountability – Provides for worker privacy and dignity.
