About The Position
Trustpoint Rehabilitation Hospital of Lubbock is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses to provide individualized rehabilitative care to patients with conditions including stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, orthopedic trauma, and other complex medical needs. The hospital also serves pediatric patients through specialized rehabilitation services. Nurses work with a diverse patient population, helping patients regain independence and achieve their best outcomes in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. The role involves collaborating with physicians and rehabilitation professionals to implement and optimize treatment plans, documenting patient progress and responses to interventions, and explaining medical information clearly to patients and families. Responsibilities
- Work with physicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech pathologists, dietitians, and case managers to implement and optimize treatment plans.
- Maintain detailed records of patient improvements, challenges, and responses to therapy interventions.
- Explain complex medical information clearly to patients and families throughout the rehabilitation journey.
- Provide rehabilitative care that supports patients in regaining independence and achieving their best outcomes.
