Registered Nurse Inpatient
About The Position
Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking an Inpatient Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, skilled nursing services to hospitalized patients and support their health and functional recovery. The nurse assesses patient needs, administers medications, performs treatments, and monitors patient conditions. Working with physicians and other healthcare professionals, the nurse develops comprehensive care plans and prepares patients and families for discharge to home or another setting for continued care. Success in this role requires clinical expertise, strong communication, and compassionate, patient-centered care.
Requirements
- Current Washington State RN license.
- One or more years of recent RN experience with acute care patients.
- CPR certification, renewed every two years or as specified by the work.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing approved by the Washington State Board of Nursing.
- BLS certification by the start date.
- Other certifications may be required for specialty areas.
Nice To Haves
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
