About The Position

Baystate Health is seeking an inpatient Registered Nurse to join the South Wing 6 Adult Surgical Unit at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield. South Wing 6 has 32 beds and serves orthopedic, trauma, urology, musculoskeletal spinal surgery, endocrine, bariatric surgery, colorectal, and thoracic patients. It is a fast-paced, high-acuity surgical unit offering opportunities to learn and develop critical-thinking skills.

This is a per diem position on the day shift, from 7 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. The schedule requires at least four shifts and two weekend shifts per six-week period, plus one major and one minor holiday annually. Experienced RN pay is listed as $43.16–$65.00 per hour, with competitive shift differentials and allowance plans. Requirements

• Successfully pass the Board of Registration in Nursing Examination and hold a nursing license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
• Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR certification.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
• At least 10 months of inpatient nursing experience required.
