About The Position

This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) on the 9 Ardmore East (9AE) Med/Surg & Respiratory unit at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem, NC. The unit is a 24-bed general medical unit specializing in Respiratory care with integrated Telemetry monitoring. It is a fast-paced environment with a diverse mix of medical and surgical patients, including those transitioning from critical care. The RN will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. They will use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and communication skills to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
