RN Inpatient (Nights) - Orthopedics
About The Position
Sanford Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for its inpatient Orthopedics unit. The RN uses the nursing process—including assessment, diagnosis, planning outcomes, implementation, and evaluation—to provide individualized patient care. The role involves working independently and collaboratively with a motivated, multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality care to patients and families. The unit holds Advanced Orthopedic Certification from The Joint Commission. The position is scheduled for 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts, with every third weekend required. Picked-up shifts receive incentivized pay. Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
- Hold an unencumbered RN license in the state where nursing practice occurs, or hold multistate licensure if practicing in a Nurse Licensure Compact state.
- Obtain and maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications.
- Be adaptable, compassionate, detail-oriented, an effective communicator, and able to manage time effectively.

- Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
