About The Position
York Hospital is seeking an Ambulatory Surgery–Post Anesthesia Recovery Registered Nurse to join its ASU/PACU team. The ASU/PACU Nurse provides professional nursing care, ensuring each patient is treated in a kind, caring, and safe manner. The role provides pre- and post-operative care to patients of all ages and includes cross-training between ASU and PACU.
Requirements
- Completion of an RN program.
- Two years of nursing experience in an ASU/PACU or critical care setting.
- Maine or compact RN license.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
- PALS certification.
Nice To Haves
- BSN or enrollment in a BSN program.
Responsibilities
- Provide pre- and post-operative care to patients of all ages.
- Ensure each patient receives care in a kind, caring, and safe manner.
- Cross-train between ASU and PACU.
