About The Position

The Registered Nurse is a licensed professional who provides patient care in accordance with Enloe Medical Center’s standards, policies, and practices. The RN prioritizes patient needs, coordinates patient care, and collaborates with other members of the patient care team to deliver care according to the medical plan of care. The position requires technical competence, professional clinical judgment, effective communication, and sensitivity to patients and families in crisis. The RN must be able to fulfill the essential functions of the position.

This full-time ICU/CCU position is on nights, with 12-hour shifts and 72 hours per pay period. Days off are variable. Compensation is listed as $55.93–$79.75, based on applicable experience, and the posting offers a sign-on bonus of up to $3,000.

Requirements

• Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing.
• Current CPR certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Basic Arrhythmia training or equivalent within one year of hire.
• Hemodynamics training or equivalent within one year of hire.
• Critical Care Course or equivalent within one year of hire.
• Demonstrated technical competence, professional clinical judgment, communication skills, and sensitivity for patients and families in crisis.
• Ability to fulfill the essential functions of the position.

Nice To Haves

• One year of acute nursing experience.
• One year of recent Critical Care RN experience.
• One year of recent Intensive Care Unit experience.
• Previous Paramedic, ED Triage Tech, EMT, ED Tech, or Lift Tech experience.
• Basic Arrhythmia, Hemodynamics, or Critical Care Course.
