About The Position

California Rehabilitation Institute, a joint venture with Cedars, UCLA, and Select Medical, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a Full Time position working day shifts. The schedule is for 2 shifts per week, from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm. The pay rate ranges from $55.67 to $75.63, with a $2,500 sign-on bonus. Requirements

Valid State RN License is required.
BLS is required at hire.
ACLS is required within 6 months of hire.

Nice To Haves

BSN or enrollment in a BSN program is preferred.
Clinical experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Partner with a Nursing Assistant partner on each shift to handle a manageable caseload.
Help patients achieve outlined goals and milestones on their individual patient care plan.
Receive admissions and/or transfers.
Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
Provide timely and accurate documentation using EPIC.
Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
Promote continuous quality improvement.
Instruct and counsel patients/families.
