Registered Nurse (Travel) - Operating Room - $2,438/wk - Polson, MT
About The Position
VitalHire is hiring a travel Registered Nurse to work in the Operating Room at an acute care hospital in Polson, Montana. The assignment is 13 weeks and involves a two-room OR supporting OB/GYN, orthopedics, GI/general surgery, ENT, pain, and dental services. The nurse covers pre/post-op, circulating, PACU, and endoscopy, and is required to float between units. Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:4, and charting is done in Epic. The schedule is either five 8-hour day shifts from 7:00 to 15:00 or four 10-hour day shifts from 7:00 to 17:00. On-call duty is required, with variable weekend and night call averaging about eight shifts per month. Weekend work is every third or fourth weekend, depending on rotation. The listed weekly pay is $2,438, with a housing and meals stipend of up to $1,267 per week where eligible.
Requirements
- Active Montana RN license; compact license accepted.
- Recent Operating Room experience.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in the operating room for OB/GYN, orthopedic, GI/general surgery, ENT, pain, and dental procedures.
- Cover pre/post-op, circulating, PACU, and endoscopy areas.
- Float between units as required.
- Participate in variable weekend and night on-call coverage, averaging about eight shifts per month.
- Work every third or fourth weekend, depending on rotation.
- Document patient care using Epic.
