About The Position
VitalHire is hiring a travel Registered Nurse to work in the Operating Room at an acute care hospital in Hartford, Connecticut. This is a 14-week contract with a day shift from 06:30 to 19:00, scheduled for 40 hours per week, starting November 9, 2026. Weekly pay is $2,596 ($64.92 per hour for 40 hours). Eligible nurses may receive a housing and meals stipend of up to $1,582 per week, based on the GSA FY2027 maximum for this location. One opening is available. VitalHire offers weekly direct deposit and a dedicated recruiter who supports nurses from submission through their last shift. The company also provides help with licensing, credentialing, and onboarding. Contract extensions and new assignments are often available.
Requirements
- Active Connecticut RN license, or a multistate compact license accepted by Connecticut
- At least 2 years of recent acute-care Operating Room experience
- BLS certification; ACLS is typically required
