About The Position

This opportunity is for a night shift PRN. We are seeking Registered Nurses with an interest or background in behavioral health to join our team and to support our patients in one of our specialty care programs: Inpatient: Crisis Stabilization, Substance Abuse, Co-Occurring Disorders.

Requirements

• Associates of Nursing degree.
• Unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse through the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
• Ability to demonstrate core nursing knowledge/competencies including medication administration.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and execute policies, procedures, treatment plans, and clinical standards.
• Ability to provide succinct and effective oral and written communications to co-workers and patients.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Ability to make sound, independent judgments based on scientific and/or ethical principles.
• Must successfully complete Handle with Care, CPR and Service Excellence within 30 days of employment and recertify at the required intervals.

Nice To Haves

• BSN degree.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of behavior management strategies to provide care for persons with psychiatric and/or substance use disorders.

Responsibilities
