About The Position

Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our 24-bed Orthopedic Unit in the beautiful Coulee Region of Wisconsin. This is an exciting opportunity to provide specialized orthopedic and trauma care while advancing your clinical skills in a collaborative, team-focused environment. The role involves providing care to orthopedic patients with fractures, joint replacements, and major or minor traumatic injuries. You will develop expertise in the care of acute surgical and orthopedic patients, including traction management, splint and cast care, postoperative recovery, and wound care. The nurse will care for patients throughout their recovery journey, helping them restore mobility, function, and quality of life. This position requires collaboration with an interdisciplinary team that includes physicians, advanced practice clinicians, physical therapists, occupational therapists, social workers, CNAs, and fellow RNs.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
  • Current RN licensure in Wisconsin upon hire
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers

Responsibilities
