About The Position

Provides direct patient care, coordinates treatment plans, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality outcomes. Maintains clinical documentation, adheres to safety protocols, and supports patient education and advocacy. This role also involves assessing learning needs of the nursing team, planning and delivering education, and supporting staff development through orientation, continuing education, and competency validation. The nurse will collaborate with leadership to implement innovative programs, evaluate effectiveness, and ensure regulatory compliance, serving as a mentor, resource, and facilitator for clinical excellence and professional growth.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse
  • Adheres to OSHA, Joint Commission, Standards of Nursing Practice supported by NJ BON, professional association, ANA Code of Ethics & Scope of Standards and Practice NJ Board of Health, and hospital standards.
  • Uses two patient identifiers and checks allergies before medication administration.
  • Follows hand washing protocols and maintains isolation precautions.
  • Properly uses and stores equipment, checking expiration dates.

Responsibilities

  • Perform systematic, comprehensive, and accurate assessments, including assessing potential discharge needs during the initial assessment process.
