About The Position

Sentara RMH Medical Center is currently seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to join our Same Day Surgery team. This position offers a sign-on bonus up to $7,500 for qualifying candidates. The scheduled shift requirements are four 9-hour shifts per week, with options for shifts between 0530-1500, 0600-1530, 0700-1630, 0830-1800, and 1000-1930.

Requirements

• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree – Nursing (Required)
• Registered Nurse (Required)

• Previous acute care experience

Responsibilities

• Performing a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care- teaching and health promotion and evaluation).
• Adhering to the standards of professional performance (ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice /nursing research, quality, evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health).
• Possessing clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards as required by specific clinical areas.
