About The Position

Baylor Scott and White Medical Center – Irving is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Emergency Department. This is a full-time night shift position, working three 12-hour shifts per week from 7 PM to 7 AM. The role involves direct patient care and documentation for patients of all ages and acuities presenting with various complaints. Staff will rotate between higher acuity main sections and lower acuity Express Care/fast track areas based on experience and training. The department is currently pursuing Level III Trauma designation, is a Primary Stroke Center, and a Primary Chest Pain Center, with a strong EMS partnership and on-site radiology services including CT and Sono. The department offers self-scheduling, voluntary on-call, and covers Certified Emergency Nurse fees. Evidence-based practice and process improvement projects are ongoing. The patient ratio is 4:1, and the department has 55 beds.

Requirements

• Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program
• RN – Registered Nurse with min of 1 year ED Experience
• BLS – Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire)
• ENPC
• TNCC
