Requirements

Graduate of an accredited RN Program
Valid license with the Iowa Board of Nursing
Current certifications in BLS (Basic Life Support)
Current certifications in ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
Current certifications in PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
Current certifications in TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
Current certifications in NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Nice To Haves

A bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred.
Proficiency in relevant software and tools will be required to accurately record patient information and transcribe physician orders.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to effectively educate patients and their families and relay patient observations to healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

Accurately recording patient information throughout their admission, stay, and discharge process.
Accurately transcribing physician orders in a timely manner.
Initiating and performing ongoing patient and family education in all nursing service departments.
Communicating patient observations to healthcare providers in a timely manner.
