Requirements
- Active authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania
- If possessing an active temporary practice permit, must obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse within the one (1) year period defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing
- Must show proof of possession of a current, valid PA temporary practice permit or PA Registered Nurse license at the time of appointment
- Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required
- Must be able to perform essential job functions
- Must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements

Responsibilities
- Administer medications, treatments, tests, and emergency care in accordance with clinical direction
- Evaluate patient conditions, monitor changes, and assist with examinations and specialty clinics
- Help individuals with activities of daily living to ensure their basic care needs are met
- Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and medication records to support continuity of care
- Follow infection control procedures, correctional policies, and quality service standards
- Share important information during shift reports and collaborate with custody and medical staff
