About The Position

UW Medical Center – Northwest has an opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse who is interested in working at our Childbirth Center. We have opportunity for an experienced nurse in Labor and Delivery.

Requirements

• Two or more years as a Labor and Delivery Nurse.
• Have/Obtain a RN license to practice in Washington state or MSL.
• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.

Responsibilities

• The autonomy to practice to highest level of license.
• Assist in the labor and delivery process
• Administration of medication, including epidurals.
• Help mother and baby in baby’s first breastfeeding
• Assist in mother and baby couplet care.

Benefits

• BSN or Higher premium $1.00/hr.
• Certification premium $1.25/hr
• Night shift differential $5.00/hr
• Weekend shift differential $4.00/hr
• Sunday Night premium $3.00/hr
• Over time pay
• Relocation available
