About The Position
Valley Medical Group is seeking a Registered Nurse to join their Endoscopy team at the Ambulatory Surgery and Procedure Center (ASPC) located at their Amherst Medical Center. This is a dynamic and fast-paced outpatient Endoscopy unit where the RN will collaborate with the GI physician and follow clinical guidelines to provide patient care. The role encompasses all aspects of care for pre-, intra-, and post-operative endoscopy patients.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed as RN in the state of Massachusetts.
- BLS & ACLS certified.
- Familiarity with EMRs
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience
- IV experience a plus
- Endoscopy, Ambulatory Surgery, ER, OR, ICU/CCU, or PACU experience a plus
- Athena experience a plus

- IV placement

- Assist GI Physicians pre-, intra-, and post-op
