About The Position
Valley Medical Group is seeking a Registered Nurse to join their Endoscopy team and work in their Ambulatory Surgery and Procedure Center (ASPC) located at their Amherst Medical Center. This is a dynamic and fast-paced outpatient Endoscopy unit where the RN will work collaboratively with the GI physician and follow established clinical guidelines to provide patient care. The RN will be responsible for all aspects of care for pre-, intra-, and post-op endoscopy patients. The position offers no nights, no weekends, and no holidays.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed as RN in the state of Massachusetts.
- BLS & ACLS certified.
- Familiarity with EMRs (Athena experience a plus)
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience
- IV experience a plus
- Endoscopy, Ambulatory Surgery, ER, OR, ICU/CCU, or PACU experience a plus
