About The Position

The Registered Nurse II - Acute Care role manages patient care through clinical nursing practice and caring, leadership, management, professionalism, and growth and development. The nurse independently assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care. This is a day-surgery pre-operative and phase II post-operative role supporting outpatient surgery and the Digestive Health Clinic, with a call commitment. The position is full-time, 36 hours per week, on the day shift.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current applicable state Registered Professional Nurse license.
• Current BLS certification, or ability to obtain it within 30 days of the start date.
• At least one year of RN experience.
• Demonstrated competency in all essential functions of a Registered Nurse – Acute Care role.
• Annual Electronic Fetal Monitoring competency is required for any RN assisting laboring women.
• The role is identified as a Registered Nurse 2 vacancy open to candidates with greater than one year of RN work experience.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
