About The Position

The Registered RN is a professional caregiver and member of a multidisciplinary health care team. The RN assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients during a designated time frame and supervises and provides patient care using the nursing process, including the therapeutic use of self. The RN follows established policies and procedures, communicates openly with internal customers and supervisors, provides excellent customer service when interacting with staff, management, and physicians, and applies Cooper core values. Other duties may be required.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of acute care RN experience, including at least 1 year in the specialty area of application.
• Graduate of an NLN-accredited School of Nursing.
• Current New Jersey Registered Nurse (NJ-RN) license.
• Current New Jersey Basic Life Support (NJ-BLS) certification.

Nice To Haves

• Current NJ-CNOR (Certified Nurse, Operating Room) certification is preferred.
• Certain specialties may require advanced certification, such as ACLS, NALS, or PALS.
