Registered Nurse PRN II-Med Surg Tele
About The Position
The Registered Nurse is a professional caregiver and member of a multidisciplinary health care team. The RN assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients during a designated time frame and supervises and provides care using the nursing process, including the therapeutic use of self. The RN follows established policies and procedures, communicates openly with internal customers and supervisors, provides excellent customer service while interacting with staff, management, and physicians, and applies Cooper core values. Other duties may be required. This is a per diem position with a 7 a.m.–7 p.m. schedule. Weekend and holiday work is required.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of acute care RN experience, including at least 1 year in the specialty area for which the applicant is applying.
- Graduate of an NLN-accredited School of Nursing.
- Current New Jersey Registered Nurse (NJ-RN) license.
- Current New Jersey Basic Life Support (NJ-BLS) certification.
Nice To Haves
- Current NJ-CNOR (Certified Nurse, Operating Room) certification is preferred.
- Certain specialties may require advanced certification, such as ACLS, NALS, or PALS.
