About The Position

This role involves providing direct nursing care to behavioral health patients. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, monitoring patient progress, developing and implementing individualized nursing care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary treatment teams. The nurse will also facilitate therapeutic interventions, such as group therapy sessions, and evaluate patient responses to treatment.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Responsibilities

Provided direct nursing care to behavioral health patients, conducting comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and monitoring patient progress throughout treatment.
Developed, implemented, and updated individualized nursing care plans aligned with multidisciplinary treatment goals and patient needs.
Collaborated with interdisciplinary treatment teams to participate in case conferences, revise treatment objectives, and coordinate patient-centered care.
Facilitated therapeutic interventions, including group therapy sessions, evaluated patient responses to treatment, and modified care plans to support positive clinical outcomes.
