About The Position

ChristianaCare, a healthcare organization with 1100 beds between two Magnet® recognized hospitals (Christiana and Wilmington) and the only Level 1 Trauma service on the East Coast corridor between Philadelphia and Baltimore, is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Behavioral Health Nursing team at the Union Hospital. This part-time position involves working 24 hours per week, primarily night shifts during the week with rotation to day shifts on weekends. The role requires adherence to department guidelines for weekends and holidays. Requirements

Current Maryland RN license or eligibility for Maryland RN license
BLS required
Two year med/surg experience in an acute care setting

Nice To Haves

BSN preferred
Psychiatric Nursing experience is strongly preferred.
Knowledge of Crisis Area is strongly preferred.
Professional Certification in Psychiatric–Mental Health or Medical/Surgical preferred

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care on the Behavioral Health Unit.
Work 24 hours per week, including night shifts during the week and rotation to day shifts on weekends.
Adhere to department guidelines for weekend and holiday coverage.
Utilize knowledge of Crisis Area.
