About The Position

A professional caregiver who plans, provides, and directs patient care and teaching, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with patient care standards and physician orders. Acts as a liaison between physicians, patients, and families, and collaborates with other health care members. Assists in orienting new personnel and may participate in health center and department committees. Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to patients’ chronological age, developmental age, and/or psychosocial maturity.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure by the Ohio State Board of Nursing.
• Previous experience in the specific nursing area is required.
• CPR certification is required.

Nice To Haves

• ACLS certification is preferred.
