About The Position

A professional caregiver who plans, provides, and directs patient care and teaching, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with patient care standards and physician orders. The nurse acts as a liaison between physicians, patients, and families and collaborates with other health care members. The nurse assists in orienting new personnel and may participate in health center and department committees. The staff nurse must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to age groups according to chronological age, developmental age, and/or psychosocial maturity.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure by the Ohio State Board of Nursing.
• Previous experience in a specific nursing area is required.
• CPR certification is required.

Nice To Haves

• ACLS certification is preferred.
