Registered Nurse (RN) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) PRN Safety Sensitive Job. Requirements

  • Valid RN or LPN license in good standing
  • Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Flexibility to work PRN shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Knowledge of safety-sensitive procedures and compliance standards
  • Applicant must be a graduate of an approved School of Nursing.
  • Must have a valid Registered Nurse License or temporary Permit, and a valid BLS Certification.
  • ER RN are required to have a valid ACLS, PALS, and TNCC Certification.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care in accordance with physician orders and established nursing protocols
  • Monitor and document patient conditions, vital signs, and responses to treatments
  • Assist with patient assessments, medication administration, and wound care
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures, especially in safety-sensitive environments
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records and care activities
  • Educate patients and their families on health management and post-discharge care instructions
