Registered Nurse (RN) - Ortho/Trauma
About The Position
The Registered Nurse evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements, and documents nursing care. The role provides care to a diverse patient population with complex concerns, performs patient tests, and administers medications within the RN scope of practice. The nurse promotes patient independence by setting care goals and teaching patients and families about conditions, medications, and self-care skills. The Ortho/Trauma Department is a 30-bed adult and geriatric surgical unit primarily serving orthopedic, trauma, neurosurgical, joint replacement, and medical overflow patients. The nurse relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
- Pennsylvania Registered Nurse Temporary Practice Permit or Registered Nurse License.
