About The Position

The Registered Nurse assists the physician in caring for and teaching patients. The role requires a state nursing license, IV therapy experience, and the ability to assess patient needs and conditions, with strong critical-thinking skills and the capacity to respond calmly and effectively in emergencies. Current CPR certification is required. BLS certification is required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days of employment; FCS provides a BLS course during that period. The nurse must communicate fluently in English and hold a valid driver license for travel to clinics. Hematology/oncology patient experience in a clinic or hospital is preferred. All employment offers are contingent on a satisfactory background screening. New hires are subject to drug testing and vaccination requirements, including influenza vaccination unless an exemption is approved. FCS is a drug-free workplace and does not recognize medical marijuana cards.

Requirements

Registered Nurse licensed in the state of residence.
Experience in IV therapy.
Ability to assess patient needs and condition.
Strong critical-thinking skills.
Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
Current CPR certification.
BLS certification upon hire or within 30 days of employment; FCS provides a BLS course within the first 30 days.
Fluency in English with excellent oral and written communication skills.
Valid driver license for travel to clinics.
Satisfactory background screening and drug testing as conditions of employment.
Required vaccinations, including influenza vaccination, unless an exemption is approved.
