About The Position

NHC HomeCare Lawrenceburg is hiring a PRN and part-time Registered Nurse. The nurse uses the nursing process to identify and achieve patient goals through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The role includes assessing physical, psychosocial, and environmental factors affecting patients’ health and developing culturally comfortable, comprehensive nursing care plans to support desired health outcomes. The nurse collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate personal care, medical care, and rehabilitation, and teaches patients and caregivers about health care and disease management in a way suited to their needs and understanding. Continuing learning needs and levels of understanding must be documented.

Requirements

Hold an unencumbered current Registered Nurse license in the state where the HomeCare agency is located, or a compact-state license if applicable.
Have at least one year of experience as a registered nurse/professional nurse.

Home care experience is desirable.
