About The Position

NHC HomeCare Lawrenceburg is hiring a Registered Nurse for PRN and part-time work. The nurse uses the nursing process—assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to identify and achieve patient goals. The role assesses physical, psychosocial, and environmental factors affecting patients’ health and develops comprehensive nursing care plans to support desired health outcomes in a culturally comfortable way. The nurse collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate personal care, medical care, and rehabilitation for optimal patient health and well-being. The role also includes teaching patients and caregivers about health care and disease management in ways appropriate to their needs and understanding, and documenting their continuing needs and levels of understanding.

Requirements

Hold an unencumbered current Registered Nurse license in the state where the HomeCare agency is located, or a compact-state license if applicable.
Have at least one year of experience as a registered nurse or professional nurse.

Home care experience is desirable.
