RN, 30 hours/week - Endoscopy
About The Position
Winchester Hospital is a 223-bed regional hospital and a leading provider of comprehensive health care services in the northwest suburban Boston area. As a Registered Nurse on the Endoscopy Team, you will provide nursing care focused on patient assessment, medication and treatment administration, monitoring patient progress, and evaluating therapies for clinical outcomes and effectiveness. You will collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to develop care strategies and support and educate patients and their loved ones to help achieve the best possible outcomes. This position is scheduled for 30 hours per week.
Requirements
- Graduate of a state-approved and/or accredited RN program.
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Nice To Haves
- A BSN is strongly encouraged.
- Work experience in the unit-specific specialty is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Complete patient assessments.
- Administer medications and treatments.
- Observe patient progress and evaluate therapies for clinical outcomes and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to develop an optimal health care strategy plan for each patient.
- Support and educate patients and their loved ones to achieve maximum outcomes.
