Registered Nurse - RN - Pediatrics/PICU Infill 3 - Full-time - Nights
About The Position
At New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, Pediatric nurses independently assess conditions and rapidly arrange multidisciplinary care. They provide care ranging from high-tech interventions to community trauma care, identify challenges, comfort families, and organize teams in time-sensitive situations. Nurses collaborate with paramedics, physicians, and other professionals across campuses, using techniques that include induced hypothermia and digital radiology. The role is part of a nursing culture focused on excellent patient outcomes, professionalism, compassionate care, and collaboration. This is a full-time night-shift position in Pediatrics/PICU at NYP Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. The shift runs from 7:30 PM to 8:00 AM, with rotating weekends and alternating holidays. The position requires on-site presence, and employees should live within commuting distance; travel expenses are not reimbursed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current New York State RN license.
- BLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association.
Nice To Haves
- At least 1 year of acute care RN experience in Pediatrics.
