RN - 1:1 Pediatric Nurse
About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care's Willow Grove Pediatric Office is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide private duty, one-to-one skilled nursing care for a 5-year-old client who is tracheostomy- and ventilator-dependent in Norristown, Pennsylvania. Nurses may choose from available shifts of 7 a.m.–5 p.m. or 11 p.m.–7 a.m. The role involves traveling to one client, delivering hands-on care, following and documenting physicians' orders, assessing and monitoring the client's condition, and recording observations, interventions, and evaluations. Nurses are empowered to provide care autonomously in the home and build a relationship with the client while supporting their milestones. BAYADA provides onboarding, training, and ongoing support from clinical managers and office staff.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
- A current nursing license in good standing in the state.
Responsibilities
- Travel to one client near you on a schedule you choose.
- Follow up with, execute, and properly document doctors' orders.
- Perform assessments and monitor clients' conditions.
- Document observations, interventions, and evaluations.
- Provide hands-on one-to-one care in the client's home.
