Registered Nurse - Critical Care
About The Position
Hauenstein 2 is a multi-specialty critical care unit dedicated to patient-centered care. The fast-paced unit serves a diverse and complex patient population and works with a skilled, collaborative interdisciplinary team. Nurses develop advanced critical care expertise across multiple specialties while strengthening clinical judgment and technical skills. The unit supports continuous learning, professional growth, clinical excellence, specialty certification, and ongoing development. This is a full-time position working 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift, 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. New graduate nurses are directed to apply to the residency program.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school and program.
- Associate degree in nursing required; BSN preferred.
- In Grand Rapids, nurses with an ADN must enroll in a BSN program within six months of hire and complete it within four years of hire.
- Licensed in the State of Michigan.
- BLS certification required.
- ACLS certification required at hire or within six months.
- Experience as a registered nurse required.
