About The Position
VitalHire is hiring a travel Registered Nurse for a PCU/Step Down role at an acute care hospital in Wilmington, North Carolina. This is a 13-week travel contract with a night shift schedule of three 12-hour shifts per week, from 18:45 to 7:15, for 36 hours per week. The listed start date is 11/23/2026. The estimated travel pay is $2,114 per week for 36 hours; local candidates are offered a rate of $48.14 per hour. There are two openings.
Requirements
- Active North Carolina RN license or compact multistate RN license
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- At least 2 years of recent cardiac experience in PCU, Step Down, or MS/Tele
- First-time travelers are accepted if they have at least 2 years of cardiac experience
