Registered Nurse (RN) Behavioral Health
About The Position
Centra Behavioral Health Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide compassionate behavioral health care in a safe, supportive environment. The hospital is a new 72-bed behavioral health facility expected to open in 2026, offering evidence-based care for a broad range of mental health concerns. The role is a full-time FTE position on days, with pay ranging from $34.04 to $45.96 per hour. The RN assesses patients, develops individualized care plans, monitors changes in patient condition, administers medications safely, and documents care accurately. The nurse collaborates with the care team, supports shift leadership, and provides trauma-informed care with empathy, dignity, and respect while helping maintain a therapeutic patient environment.
Requirements
- Active Virginia RN license (single-state) or compact license required.
- If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins.

- One year or more of behavioral health experience is highly preferred.
