About The Position

The Registered Nurse on Legacy Health’s Resource Team provides patient care while remaining available and flexible to float to various sites throughout the Legacy Health System. The RN participates as a member of the health care team in cooperation with and under the direction of a clinical manager or designee, following the applicable Standards and Scope of Practice for Registered Nurses.

The RN assesses, analyzes, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care according to Legacy Health’s established patient care standards, including standards for patient assessment and transfer. The position is paid at a flat rate, plus appropriate differentials while working.

Requirements

• Three years of registered nursing experience in the applicable specialty.
• For the IMCU/Med Surg Resource Pool: three years of IMCU nursing experience and telemetry experience.
• ACLS certification required.
• Oregon and Washington state RN licensure required.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers required.
• Demonstrated positive interpersonal and communication skills with colleagues, patients, families, physicians, and the community.
• Keyboard skills and ability to navigate electronic systems applicable to job functions.
• Education as required by licensure.

Nice To Haves

• BSN or degree in progress is strongly preferred.
• BSN may be required for specific assignments; experienced RNs without a BSN may be hired based on clinical experience with approval of the site CNO.
