About The Position

The Registered Nurse on the Resource Team provides patient care and is available and flexible to float to various sites throughout Legacy Health System. The RN works as a member of the health care team in cooperation with and under the direction of a clinical manager or designee, consistent with applicable Standards and Scope of Practice. The RN Resource Team assesses, analyzes, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care according to Legacy Health patient care standards, including standards for patient assessment and transfer. The position is paid at a flat rate, plus appropriate differentials while working.

Requirements

• Three years of registered nursing experience in the applicable specialty.
• For the IMCU/Med Surg Resource Pool: three years of IMCU nursing and telemetry experience.
• For the IMCU/Med Surg Resource Pool: ACLS certification.
• Positive interpersonal and communication skills with colleagues, patients, families, physicians, and the community.
• Keyboard skills and ability to navigate electronic systems applicable to job functions.
• Oregon and Washington state RN licensure.
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Education as required by licensure.

Nice To Haves

• BSN or a degree in progress is strongly preferred.
• A BSN may be required for specific assignments; experienced RNs without a BSN may be hired based on clinical experience with approval of the site CNO.
