About The Position
DaVita is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in an outpatient dialysis setting for patients with end-stage renal disease or chronic kidney conditions. The role involves monitoring patients, managing treatment plans, responding to changes in health, collaborating with clinical teammates, and educating patients and families about kidney health and treatment options. The nurse will float to nearby clinics as needed, so a flexible schedule and reliable transportation are required. Dialysis experience is not required; paid training is provided. The work is fast-paced and hands-on, offers opportunities to build long-term patient relationships, and involves applying a broad range of nursing skills with medically complex patients. Training may take place at a clinic other than the home location. Shifts may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. The listed wage range is $39.00–$54.00 per hour. Compensation depends on factors including qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience. Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of practice.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Reliable transportation for potential floating.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Experience in ICU, CCU, ER, or Med Surg.
- CNN or CDN certification.
